1906 S.A. Springfield Armory 16 inch Bayonet with Scabbard Mint Blade
This is a Model 1905 Springfield bayonet that was originally produced in 1906. The blade is in mint condition. I believe the blade to be the 1 st war blue finish done around 1917 Before that it would have had a bright blade. The scabbard is the Navy M 3.
This is model 1913 bayonet manufactured by Remington for the British in April 1917 With a mint blade. The blade is parkerized which I believe was done over the original finish which was usually a dull gray sandblasted finish.Note how the markings on the ricasso does not have the bend test mark which is an X. Scabbard is original from 1918 and is the second pattern with a tear drop hanger. Estimated value $ 200

Bayonet is mint with the original blue coating. Note the ricasso is lighter than the blade this only happens if the finish is original. This type of finish is only on the 1919-1921. The line on the ricaoso was called the temper line Very rare

1920 16in springfield 1905 bayonet with original finish along with a 1943 Navy M3 scabbard.Notise how the ricasso is lighter than the blade this only happens if the bayonet has an original finish.

Very nice 1910- 1915 MSA ideal with india stag and sheath. The scales are very nice. Estimated value $ 750

Full hilt stag with large nut aluminum pommel was available from 1921- 1922, the shortest production run of any ideal variations. The sheaths for the 8 in blade knives are even harder to find than the knives. estimated value $650
